Does anyone have experience with this product?

I was wondering if this could be a solution to lift the rear suspension. (In conjunction with longer coil springs in front & 2" longer shocks all around)... unless this only act as helpers, eg loadhog, airbags, etc?

Alternatively I'll have to get someone to make me extended shackles for the rear... (But I have not had any success in sourcing a place that can do this for me).

Don't go there. Unless you like battling.

Any half-competent engineering shop should be able to make up a set of longer shackles for you.

Everybody I know who has tried them on hard-working vehicles has had problems with broken springs.

If you are lucky, the super spring breaks, but sometimes the main leaf breaks instead.

These kinda devices have been made by various companies over the years and they all nonsense.

Its a gimmick. Not designed to lift the rear but meant to support the rear when its overloaded.

If you want to lift the rear you need to buy a proper leaf spring pack, medium 250kg constant load, or Heavy 400kg constant load.

Even shackles alone are going to disappoint you as it will be a very small difference you will notice (in lift), however, the shackles will give it a better feel through the spring stroke.

Stay away from this kinda stuff though, it will only limit your flex ... something leafsprings need more than anything else.

Just another point to remember with increasing ride height by fitting a heavier set of springs ,is the ride comfort of the vehicle....
unlike a Patrol suv ,the Ldv's tends to hop a lot on the rear axle especially when its empty..

Absolutely... I run a fair bit of weight over the rear , with canopy, spares, roof rack, etc etc,.. and my 400kg constant load are doing a good job. But when i took my canopy and gear off for a respray on the canopy, it felt like my axle was welded directly to the chassis. Bliksem!
