Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Everyone,

Where is a safe place to see wild and have a good stay with a 4x4 route?

Not doing the camping thing so I need chalets or lodge accommodation that will not cost an arm and a leg. Need a place to take the family to do some game viewing and and if possible the big five. Around PTA.

Easy Dinokeng!! We have just bought a place there and it in great, lots of different accommodation types and they opened their self drive route in December AND it is only 40km from the big smog! Just bung into google Dinokeng accommodation and it will pick up lots of places between about R350 and R1500 pppn

Would and other Forum members be interested to going up here? Maybe start off at Diggers Hole on Saterday morning, late lunch at Langs Die Pad then off for a night of camping/chalets on the Saterday. Then a game drive on Sunday, lunch at Mongena then head home. If there is enough interest I will stick my hand up for organizing it
