Dit moet n fout wees of n conversion wees want die GQ patrol kom in die SGL wat die 4.2 petrol is, die 4.2ST wat die Diesel donkie is en die SGR wat die 4.2 TDi is.

Nie dat ek so alles weet nie, maar Dis die enigstes wat ek nog gesien het behalwe Bogeyman se 4.5 maar Dis Sy eie conversion.

Ek ken vir dieTrevor van Megan Auto. Sal bietjie met hom gesels oor daai kar .

Hmmmm..... interesting.... if you look at the rev counter on the one pic, it redlines at 4500. Doesn't the 4.2 petrols redline higher than that? Maybe an error on the SGL part, and the ST decals have been removed and the body resprayed...

What are you guys talking about?

I have a '96 SGL (GQ) and it's a Diesel.

It has climate control and a duel air con system.

The clock reads 162K km

Andre, Ja you are spot on then.... I thought yours was also the ST like Papa Smurfs, but yours has the chrome bumpers and all the luxury items of the SGL unlike Papa Smurfs that I think only came out with electric windows if I'm not mistaken.

The 4.2 diesels in the Y60 are so scarce here in SA !!!

No diesels(GQ) were brought in by Nissan SA, so, they are all grey.

You really battle to get parts with the VIN no's as they are not listed.

Even the Insurance Houses don't have them listed.

Yeah so the ST and the SGL diesels were "grey" imports then? I recall Grant mentioning that one of the dealers here on the East Rand if I'm not mistaken, brought in a few of the diesel models.

So glad my bank manager is not speaking to me at the moment, otherwise that Patrol would be in my garage by the end of the day

Then I just take all the accessories of mine and swop it over to this one ............ anybody got 69k they want to "borrow" me
