I read about the spot in Sharjah.
To be honest, I was planning a trip there when I'm stuck in the emirates for two weeks later this year... :)

hey Ian let me know when you are down here, and we can have a look together if I am free.
The switch unit is for electric seats on a y61? They may have it, if possible. Sadly they do not have a website, the guys who run these places are nearly all from Afganistan/Pakistan especially the Toyota/Nissan scrap yards. There is another couple of smaller places in Abu Dhabi that I know that allowed me to get a catalytic converter for almost 1/6th price of a new one from Nissan.
Yes a lot of 4.2 diesels here, seems the diesel engine was more popular in Japan.

That looks like Patrol heaven
The real shame is import duties on whole vehicles.
I gather those vehicles standing there are all left hand drive? - in which case it is almost impossible to import to SA.

NO they are not Left hand drive, they are from Japan, and Japan is Right hand drive. Do you want one?

Still not sure about the switches....can you post a picture of you what you mean, or a part number please. I can ask Nissan here as well for the price of a new one. I can call the scrapyard and ask if they have the item, and a picture will help them understand over whatsapp.
