I am trying to find out about the cost in replacing a rear tail light on an '05 4.8 Patrol...

Where are the best places to buy the unit & what type of price will I be looking at?

JP which lights are you talking about the ones in the bumper or the dummy lights on the sides of the rear doors? If it is the dummy lights I would contact Graham I believe he now has stock again think the price is about R2500 for both, simple installation just plug and play!!

I have the RH rear bumper light of my 4.5 Patrol that I got when the rear bumper was replaced.

It's the LH(passenger side) top dummy lens on the corner of the body.

Got one of those lying at the factory when I changed the lights to working ones, what year model is your patrol?

If you have no joy here, you can contact Dawid Volschenk directly. He sources such parts or else finds it from his existing stock of Patrol scrap (083 four nine-nine, one, 5, double 8).
Else you can do it directly yourself and order from this site. It is much MUCH cheaper than to order from a Nissan dealer

(2005+ left rear body dummy tail lamp)

It's a 2005 GRX 4.8
