Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

I'm thinking of selling my Patrol It has an imported AXT Extreme turbo/intercooler kit with a high flow injector pump also brought in from Aus.probably one of the most powerfull 4.2 diesels in S.A.(150kw and 600Nm torque)it has ceramic coated pistons, valves and exhaust manifold, 3" stainless steel exhaust.The engine has done about 30 000km trouble free and there is 215 000km on the clock.Other extra's include OME suspention,35x12.5x15" tyres on 15x10" steel wheels,rear ARB air locker,ARB Sahara bar with IPF fog lights and 130w IPF Super Rally driving lights,T-Max 10 000lb cordless winch, African Outback draw system, Outback roof consol with LED lights,Navstar 2-way radio built into the center consol, LED tail,brake and park lights and tinted windows.This vehicle is in good condition.I am finding it to big for me and would like to get a SWB GU instead.I have spent a huge amount of money on it and would like to recoup some of it.I am asking R145 000 for it but am negotiable!

Dennis tell us more about this engine. How reliable is the conversion, what boost is it running etc.

Hi Abri,I guess I've done about 30 000km with thie engine with no problems at all.When I first built it I could only get 120Kw out of it and I was very disappointed with the performance after expecting 160-180Kw,I was told that I needed a bigger injector pump, so I baught a new pump in Aus and got 150Kw out of it which was a major improvment and it pulled like a train.We did the Outback challenge which is 8 days of sheer hell without so much as a missfire .As for reliability, the Aussies are running 200+Kw without any major problems,which shows how under stressed these engines are.When I was running the engine in the competition I was running 1.7bar boost but I have now dropped the boost down to 1.5bar to reduce stress on the turbo,the EGT have gone up a bit so I need to reduce the amount of fuel being injected.I have never had any over heating of the engine.
