Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Gents,
Continue the search for my own trol and had a look at the following vehicle, would appreciate your thoughts:
Model 1998 4.5 GRX
Km 197 000
Price 95 000
Body in good condition and new leather seats
Still get the feeling the price is to high ????
Going to the cape tomorrow for business and want to have a look at 2 other options there, prices seems more reasonable.
I'm sure my Trol is out there just need to find it, thanks for any feedback

200k km is not much for a '98 model.

If it really is in good nick, it could well be worth it, but you may get lucky if you are prepared to wait.

I have no problem with coastal cars but most 4.5 has been around for about 15 years so make very sure the cape one hasn't got a lot of rust....
Also if you can get a clean car for a bit more it will save a lot in the long run

I have a 1998 4.5 GRX (235 000 km) and am very happy with it in Pretoria. Paid R130 000 for it 3 years ago (192 000km).
Make sure the diff lock, cooling system, altenator, fuel pump and water pump is OK. Other than that not much should go wrong. Give it a good service upon receipt. You may need to replace the clutch at about 240 to 250 000 km.
