Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel
Dirk, hoe kan jy nou in die bos ry met jou vensters toe? Ek dog 'n biker soos jy sal verstaan?
Seker die dat my kar altyd so stowwerig is binnekant.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel
Micheal..... I got 3 colour swatches of the "suede". I got a brown, black and a grey. The grey is very very close to the colour of my dash and leather seats...... I'm so chuffed with this colour that I'm thinking of also recovering my center console lid between the front seats and the soft rectangular thingy above the cubby hole and maybe even some of the door trim.....
Regards
Cedric

Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel
Dirk, I have all my windows tinted on all my cars, makes a hell of a difference to the temp inside but Peter is right I always have my windows open in the game reserves. There are different tints (light, medium and dark) I always go for the light and it works perfectly.
Cedric why are you worried about the different colours?? everything will eventualy turn black with the diesel smoke coming from your oilburner LOL

Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel
So yes, finally had my Patrol on the dyno a while back at a dyno day with the community forum.
Power was measured at the wheels and I think the readings are very acceptable considering I have not had my engine "Dyno Tuned" and my fuelling is set very "environmental friendly" and also having 33" tyres. I must also say that i was expecting/hoping for a little bit more, but I think we did very well when we looked at other manufacturers and how they did. There was about a 30% loss in power from the engine to the wheels when looking at the engine power vs engine power of vehicles that ran that day.
It was really great to have Cedric there and to see how very close and almost exact our reading were, It was great fun and would like to compare my Patrol against other TD42's at the coming Dyno day in centurion
72 kw @ 3060 rpm
261 Nm @ 2501 rpm
