RaceChip® Pro2
Has any one purchased and installed the RaceChip® Pro2 on a 3l patrol? I was thinking of buying one to try solve my power issues. Was diving up hill a few week ago and the car was struggling I had to keep playing with the gears to get it to go as large 18 wheelers where taking me over miss my 4.8 that had real power
Any advice will help before I lay out the money is it worth it? I am looking for performance don't care about fuel eficency
I have a 2009 model

Re: RaceChip® Pro2
What you describe is a problem that needs to be fixed.
A broken system cannot be "modified right".

Hello

Hello
I agree with the others. Before a chip making any purchase. First test if the car performs right.
A real chip does make a difference but it still does not help on a car with a fault.
Eg. a 100kW car can make 110 hp with a chip. but if your car starts to 100kW 90 kw, making him perhaps a chip 100kW. This means nothing.

Re: RaceChip® Pro2
Hi Gil,
Did you chip yet? Or did you find an alternative solution. Mine is also pap. Aspesialy in 4th and 5th gear. It doesn't pull at all. I'M also looking in to the chip. The chances of something wrong on my Trol is slim as it is stil brand new. Only thing that makes sence is the turbo boost control that is described else where on the forum.
Please let me know?

Re: RaceChip® Pro2
Is it possible to install a racechip on a 4.2d patrol ?
What other "performance boosting" options do we have?
