Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

On the heels of last years successful Bridgestone Club Challenge, we are busy putting together a team together for this great event.

So now that guys have seen how the Bridgestone event runs, and that we ALL can do it and enjoy it, please put your name down. Even us Patrols had fun with a great course laid out to accommodate the Patrols, yet tight enough to make you think about how to get through..... many laughs were had after the event !!!

Hello all,
Bridgestone have advised us that our event date for 2014, is 12 April 2014.
Same rules as last year - standard bodied Nissan vehicles, with a team of 2 in the vehicle.
This year, we want to finalise entries by Friday 4 April 2014, so that we reduce the stress.
And, we need to get 40 vehicles registered for the day, to avoid being bumped off the events list, and being replaced by eg Tata 4x4 Club.
So, we invite each driver & co-driver that joined us on Saturday 18 at Hennops, as well as the members who drove last year, to join us for this fun and educational event.

I'd like to compete, but last year I've been disqualified on the challenge date for the size of my tyres (315/75/R16). My SWB might stand a chance (came second on the club day, if not disqualified). I need smaller tyres just for the competition. Does anybody have a set of old (roadworthy) ATs or MTs for me (285/75/R16 or similar) just for the challenge?

Yessss Thabies Deon -- oompi has a set of 265/70 x16 Bridgestone Dueller [694 A/T] -- It is the same as size on BOEZMAN that won the Nissan challenge last year

On condition -- when you done with them after the competition, it must go to Missionary in Botswana.

Where will the event take place?

We are still finalizing a venue. We are having a meeting next week to discuss this.

Thanks Oompie, that's a nice gesture. Of course it will go to missions! I'll get into contact with you to get them to me.
