I am looking for good quality seel rims for my Patrol in 16" diameter and 8" or 9" wide.
G-Man I like you wheels a lot, are they 17" steel?
Should I contact TWT , Autoquip....?
I have road tyres on my std Patrol rims.
My steel rims are rusting badly and they are to narrow for my next set of tires wich will be 305/70/16.
Thanks

Hi. Yup they are 17" and with the right offset for Patrols.

I have another set like these which is brand new in boxes and for sale!

Pitty about the size, I want 16" Are those rims the A-line Blitz?
What is the correct offset for the Patrol?

-30 is a nice offset for Patrols, the rims are not local rims it's from a joburg company who brought in 2 sets and i took both.

Cornelius, please let me know if/when you decide to sell your current steel rims. I am interested.

In terms of OEM rims, both the 16x8JJ rims (for 265/70R16 or 275/70R16 tyres) and the 17x8JJ rims (for 275/65R17 tyres) have a positive offset of 10mm.
Running rims with -30mm offset might be useful in terms of clearance, because the centerline of the tyre is displaced outboard, but this does increase the load on the wheel bearings and steering components and slightly upsets the steering geometry. Also, because the front wheels now swing through arcs of increased radius, there may be interference issues at full lock.

Ek sal moet kyk of 15" wiele sal pas. Ongelukkig is 7" te nou vir my 285/75R16 bande (hulle kan op vellings van 7.5" tot 9" pas).
