Hi All,
I am starting a new thread in hope of better response to our planned trip to Tierkloof. So here's the invitation to all interested forum members - there is a definate 4x4 daytrip to Tierkloof (opposite Brandvlei dam just before Brandvlei prison just outside of Rawsonville) on Sunday 30 Aug 2009. Interested forum members are asked to nominate themselves - I will do the necessary admin arragements etc. The day looks as follows:
Event: Tierkloof - nice mountain route with ample chanllenges and a nice sand part as well. This is a "no battle scar" route unless you don't know what you are doing.
Departure: Winelands Engen One Stop next to N1 @ 08H00 SHARP!!! (Especially for the
who wish to 
a bit later!!)
Costs: R100-00 per vehicle, R20-00 per adult and free for all school going children irrespective of age. Availability of route already confirmed and booked.
Arrangements: Family fun daytrip with a pinic lunch on top of the mountain with beautiful views over Brandvlei dam. Each family provides for themselves.
Participants so far confirmed: Myself, G-Man, Saltman, Newbie and Tour de Frans.
Come on guys - this is really a very nice route - let's get to know each other a little better!!!
