I am urgently looking for a newly imported or reasonably refurbished radiator for my Y 61, 4.5l petrol, year 2001.
The original one is apparently 14.000 Rand which I can't afford.
I need it as a matter of urgency. Any advise appreciated.

Took the old radiator to Tombo this morning. They promised to make me an new one out of alluminium by Friday. 3 grands plus VAT. That's the inflation. Ordered one for Graham as well.
You saved me thousands of Rand!

Wat is die gevoel oor aluminium core verkoelers?

Jorrie, die oorspronklikke radiator is Aluminium. Die silinder-kop ook. Elektrolise is nie 'n probleem nie, net roes. Sorg dus dat jy die regte anti-freeze reg gebruik.
Koper verkoelers het net twee voordele:
hulle corrodeer stadiger (veral by die see) en hulle is maklikker om reg te maak.

Dit is meer belangrik dat die mounting punte oplyn en die rubbers op regte plek is .ek dink hulle kos so 3k nou .ek weet van so 5 4.5 patrols wat met hulle loop en dit werk baie mooi
