Re: 1996 Patrol SGL 4.2 D, opinion needed
Just an update. My Patrol has seen very little driving over the last 2 months but I have now clocked up a circuit of a further 600km's of mixed driving, very short town type and about half open road. I can confirm that the diesel consumption for the mixed circuit remains at 9km/L which is very satisfactory. Now decided to bring her home for 2 or 3 weeks of daily driving and sort out a few minor little issues at the same time. Was not very impressed with the wife when (on the way back home) she took a photo of the speedo every time we hit 120km/hr. Very disrespectful in my opinion !!
My Patrol will officially be named after a very noble animal.............."IMBONGOLO" or "iDonki"............the one that never stops!! Name decals will be sorted shortly.

Hi Philip
What Oom Mac (Kagiso II, and not Uncle Mac) is saying, is that he would be very keen to see a picture of your vehicle.
It is a constant and never-ending desire.
The GQ Diesel is rare in SA, so a few photos would be good!
To do this on this forum is not that straight forward.
You need a digital photo of your car. Preferably one that has been crunched down to a size of not more than 500kb.
When typing a post, click on the tab "Upload attachment"
Then click on "Choose file" and go to the file location on your hard drive.
Then "Add the file"
Then You will still need to click on "Place inline", once you have pointed the cursor in the typed post at the desired place.

Baie mooi man!
Snaaks genoeg, daar is nog 'n ou op die forum wat ook so 'n kar het. In presies dieselfde kleure, en ook diesel. En as jy nou hou van toeval, sy naam is ook Phillip! Hier op die forum noem hy homself Raka...
