Hello all,

It has been brought to our attention that Rust de Winter has closed for the "cold" season already..... Chickens.... I guess the others cant handle the cold .... :rolling: :rolling:
So.... we have changed this weekend getaway from Rust de Winter to a beautiful track called Serendipity. I have camped over there before, and driven the trail. It is not a wild difficult trail, but is definitely a very beautiful, with a few small water crossings and rock climbs

See website:
http://www.serendipitytrails.co.za/index.php/trails/4x4

We are busy getting the costs together for a great camping weekend, and will break it down. I'm thinking of arriving there on Friday evening/night, slap up a tent, braai a choppie and have a doppie, then Saturday drive the trail and have a good kuier on Saturday night, and leave on the Sunday morning for the insanity of home :rolling: :rolling: ... but you are welcome to arrive on the Saturday morning ... EARLY.... but with must be with breakfast for all..... ha ha ha ( just kidding ).

We will post all the info on the site. You will have to do the payment directly to them before we leave to go there. We have booked the site, but will loose this if we don't do the payment asap. I'm sure that you understand that I cannot pay to book the site out of my own pocket. Once you have paid, please add your name to the list below.

1) Cedric ( Iron Maiden )
2) Grant ( Papa Smurf ......  )

Their accomedation is ..... a lot :oldtimer:

I think we should maybe try and decide on a specific camp if we want to "kuier" or do we stay where we want?

Dirk, it will be in the camping site at around R90/person I think. I'm not yet sure which one. The last time I was there i stayed, I think at the eco camp. I will get confirmation on which camp shortly.

Hi Gents,

The booking is under my name and I will be staying in the bush camp. This is availabkle to 8 to 10 tenst as bush trailers will take up alot of space, and there is only one tap, and electrical point.

Attached si the pricing spreedsheet.

If I may be so froward as to record toe "booking"
Cedric, it is still not clear to me. I may not be blond, but I am becoming platinum quickly at the moment.
Do we pay Grant, since he has already made the booking?

The booking has been made in Grants name. You need to do a payment directly to Serendipity though. On that attachment from Grant there is contact info too.
