Urgent rear bumper

Post by XenoBlitz »

Well It's good to be back. But sad to say, I've actually had some damage on my Patrol over the holidays.

Driving into a big mud pool, the right side suddenly gave way beneath my rear back wheel and the vehicle fell on its side. The only way out, was to drive out.. but in the process I ripped off my rear bumper.
The car survived, but now I need a replacement. :helpsign:

As the patrol is my primary vehicle, I now drive around town without rear lights on my right hand side and it's only a matter of time before I'm pulled over.

I've phoned around and the earliest delivery time for a steel bumper is 2-3 weeks.

If anyone out there is aware of a dealer having a single rear bumper in the Gauteng area please let me know.
May the road be long.. and dirty.

In the mean time, parhaps it's a good idea to commision the body-mounted lights?

I hope that's the only damage?

Herrie: I would be very interested in looking at your old bumper?
If you could please give me a ring at zero 8 2 five six 0 6 tree eight 6.

Peter: Well, some body damage and one body mounted light yes. I'm going to try to source that today. I'm guessing Nissan will probably murder me for around R 2800 for the light alone.

If you dont come right with a replacement bumper - you can put globe attachments in the body lights. Took me approx 2 hours with all lights working.

Wilhelm

Ek gaan nou in Januarie my staal bumper by Ben laat maak.

PM my as jy belangstel.
