Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

A couple of us are going to play at De Wildt on 15 Dec 2012. Nothing formal.
The idea is to start at 09H00. Take the drive and to braai at 13H00.

The following are in so far:

1. Jorrie, Henriette and Family (Patrol).
2. Charles Fry and family (Patrol).
3. Derick Terblanche and Glen Hare (Suzuki SJ410).
4. Juan Leslie - New to the scene (Patrol).

Any other takers are welcome. Please advise if you are in!!

How did it go at De Wilt?? we had a wild day 4x4ing too....through shopping malls for Father Christmas to make deliveries....

I'm sure it was very muddy there!!

We were three vehicles. Two Patrols and a Suzuki.
De Wildt was surprisingly dry. We did the whole trial and had and enjoyable day without any wheelspin.
Had a lot of fun in the axle twisters and in the play pits.
There were a lot of game to be seen and the game seems to be used to vehicles and people as we were able to get within 25m from giraffe, eland, kudu and zebra and other game.
Hope to introduce a new member (Juan Leslie with an awesome 4.GRX) to the forum and the Nissan 4x4 club soon.
Regrettably we did not take many pics, but Juan's SWAMBO took quite a bit of video material.
Will post if when I get some footage.
