hardbody ZD30 vs Patrol ZD30

OK it happened :tease: ZD30 went at 110"km ,

We detected a faulty turbo on my wives ZD30 patrol, while waiting for the new turbo to be delivered the old one went and broke a ring.
No damage to the motor all in order, head, pistons etc.

Question.
I know the ZD30 hardbody & patrol motors differ but does any one know if the gasket sets are the same as the patrol motor, can you use it? What about the rings and bigends?

To increase the sump capacity can I use the bakkie sump?

What else should I do while I am doing it?

Anybody with ideas?

Thanks JV

EK PRAAT ONDER KOREKSIE, MAAR KE HET SO MAAND TERUG MY TROL SE ENGINE HEEL OOR GEDOEN, EN ONS HET LAAS WEEK N HARDBODY ZD30 OOK OOR GEDOEN EN DIE GASKETS LYK VIR MY IS DIE SELFDE, OM DIE WAARHEID TE SE LYK DIE ENGINE VAN ONDER DIE TAPPETCOVER AF ONDERTOE DIE SELFDE AS DIE TROL SIN.

EK DINK DIE GROOT VERSKILLE KOM IN BY DIE BRANDSTOF SYSTEEM, TURBO, INTERCOOLER ENS, MAAR DIE ENGINE SELF IS DIE SELFDE

Thanks,
Is die bakkie se sump groter as die van die 2001 diesel Patrol, weet jy dalk?

I also believe the internal mechanicals are the same.
I have a hardbody ZD 30, that has been to Namibia countless times towing an Echo trailer and never given me a days problem. I had the SAC intercooler fitted to help with towing ( it was my Bush vehicle before I got the Troll)
The oil capacity ( with filter) is 7.5 lts
Hope this helps, as not sure what the Troll ZD 30 takes
Cheers

Does anyone know whether the ZD30 Patrol motor's sleeves are suppose to have a lip at the top? I got a set of sleeves for a ZD30 but they are just smooth with out a recess?
