Supplied and fitted by Mark's 4WD Adaptors, they are 3.74:1. With the additional hub reduction (1.22:1) in the portal assemblies, I have 80:1 low low. Any more would be just greedy!

Hi Pat

Welcome to the Forum. Not as busy as the Ozzie forum, but on the up side it is more personal.

With regard to the crawler gears, this is something we in SA do not have much experience of.
My biggest worry is reliability. How hard have you driven your vehicle using the crawler gears? and have you come across a lot of drivetrain failures as a result of, or associated with crawler gears?

Thanks

Alex

Hi Pat & MOST welcome.. Already THANK You for the inputs you've already given .. I learned some :-))

You will notice that lot of us tend to switch over to Afrikaans .. if the topic is of interest, and we jabber away in Afrikaans, just copy the text and take it to GOOGLE TRANSLATE .. it wont be correct but least you'll understand.what we are on about

and again - welcome
You should have similar down under ???

Hi Alex,
Marks 4WD Adaptors crawler gears are stronger than original. Used regularly in winch comps. and outback racing. Outstanding product well worth the money.
