Gents en Manne and all n all .. I know its weekend - but time is few and I desperate need answer..
BOEZMAN's temperature shoots up if i drive GPS true 120 [125 on speedo]
Bosch replaced the radiator - still does it
The removed and checked water pump [impellar as new]
the air con radiator and intercooler radiators bot washed with pressure washer.
Thermoatat tested - works A - OK
Serpentine belt checked - still very O K and correct tension.
as long as I stay around 100, he's dead normal on temp - soon as i drive ate 125 -- just kilo or so, he heats up again [but temp drops back to normal as soon as I slow down. Also - no problem with Town driving
-
BOEZMAN is a 3.0 16valve DIESEL Hard Body [4x4] with Dastek chip & Intercooler]
ANY BODY ???????? PLeezzzz ??
[Ons Uitreik vertek die week Zambie toe -- ek eht NET Maandag om uit te sort???
wat ek solank gaan doen: Vervang ALLE hoses ingevall een "toeknyp"
vervang "sender unit" wat temp meet
vervang rad cap & termostaat
??????????? Vervang waterpomp / visvous fan [dis 'n "unit" jy MOET albei vervang ]

Sterkte.

Sounds like overfueling or overboosting to me - have had similar problems in the past on TDI vehicles

Oom Mac, I think the guys above are correct.
I want to add though: do not waste your time replacing the fan and viscous, the airflow through the radiator at 125km/h is probably better without a fan than with one.

I'll add some more small change to Peter's suggestion: I've personally measured the output from those fans and they blow air at approximately 40-50 km/h. Once your road speed is above that, I fail to see how they can have a big impact on the airflow through the radiator.
Something else to try is driving without the air-con. If that stops the overheating, the hot air fed from the aircon's condensor may be undermining the radiator's ability to sufficiently cool down the engine coolant. If the air flowing from the air-con's condensor into the radiator is at already at 80-90 degrees C, it won't help the radiator at all. Condensors that get too hot have a range of causes: defective pressure switches (they won't cycle properly), blocked internals (more pressure = more heat), etc. etc.
Try Aldo (or Johan or Bradley) at Boomed Alive - they're just around the corner in Faerie Glen and know their stuff...

Oom.... I was thinking.... and it was only when I read Christo's post that the few bits of grey matter in my kop started to work..... You went through the mud just before me at de wildt and were quite deep into it too
On Sunday I gave the Maiden a gooood wash.... especially the engine bay, after Bass lake on Saturday
I was still washing out thick MUD from de wildt. When I looked closer at the radiators, where the power washer cannot get to, the veins of the radiator were blocked full of mud !!!!!!
I spent a lot of time with the power washer trying to work it gently between the radiators to was out the mud....... I think I got it all out !!!
Check hom daai radiators !!!

Ricster may just be onto something here! As they say: "Cleanliness is next to Godliness..."

Thanx Ricter -- but oompie had the rdiator complete OUT, sent to Sliverton Rad -- and they said thet my top hoese outlet "lip" [that ridge on the end] is broken off so they sold me a NEW radiator -- BOSCH reports that they dit powerwash the other two rad's [Aircon and Intercooler]
Had it at SAC this morn -- we dit the "die" in water test - and NO zilch zero paerticles show up in exhozt [jaaaaaa Arries - ek WEET dis EXHAUST} maar exhozt sĂȘ lekkerterder

] -- - BUT what that menas is that the HEADS are still 100% O K .. [en dis 'n GROOT verligting...]
Gerhard let me buy NEW termostat & radiator cap [R406 vir termostaat by stealers .. *&*^*&%&^%*& Ridiculous of hoe?? ].. to be fitted tomorrow .. and teh turbo replaced nad teh DYNO -- if Boezman after that not fixed, I am NOT going on the outreach any more ..
