Morning all, currently my GQ has 15" standard Patrol steel rims on. When my tyres are due for replacement what are the pro's and con's with replacing them with a 16" rim??

Jules, I have 16" rims on my GQ purely because I had the rims and the BFG KM2 33/12.5/15 tires were not available.
Benefits of the 16", higher load rating and becoming more popular in 285/75/16 vs 33/12.5/15 seeing that more an more vehicles use it thus freely available.

Benefits of 15", ever so slightly cheaper and more sidewall high so more flex and bigger footprint.

Abri has said it all, Jules.

Be careful with those cracked rims of yours if you do not decide to replace them.

Yes Gerrit that is why I am busy enquiring about R16's so when my BFG run smooth I can possibly replace rim and tyre to 16" , but maybe by that time I will be able to get a 4.8 willpost a pic later of the one I have ordered.
