Hi Guys,

Just another introduction to who I am and what we do in Tanzania.

I currently work for a company called CFAO Motors Tanzania ( http://www.cfao.com)

We are the official distributors fro Nissan in East Africa ( Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya )

In Tanzania we have 14 representatives all around the country.

We are also the official agents for TJM accessories ( bull bars, suspensions etc), IPF spot lights, Maxxis and Continental tyres.

The point that Im trying to make is if you decide to take a trip to Tanzania, be sure to contact me before hand so that we can make sure that we have the necessary parts available for your car, should you decide to get some work done.

Kind Regards

Hi Alex,
Nice to hear, when I visit Tanzania in June 2010, it was great to see lots of Patrols there!!
How does the spares prices look like comparing to SA and also the availability?

Take for instance a viscus coupling for a 4.5L TB45E engin, here in SA you will pay R3000 for one. (USD385)
Regards,

Wilfred

Hi Guys, none in stock. Here are the prices including air freight to Tanzania........

TD42 - R4500.00
TB45 - R4000.00

Im waiting for our spare parts department to give me a sea freight rate.

Should be close to R3000.00

Best bet is to order one from Dubai.

Don't know why OE is so expensive..............

Regards

Alex

Alex, thanks for the prices.

Looks a bit high.
As you say, handcarry it from Abu Dhabi for R900 for the TB45 viscous!

Unfortunately I am not going to Abu Dhabi anymore!
Recently I bought a radiator from Abu Dhabi for R3000 and the shipping by DHL was R4200.

Shipping is expensive!!
