Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi there
Does anybody, by any small chance, have two 'front inner axle oil seals' (Part #40533-01J00) that they are willinging to sell. The agents need three weeks to source them and my patrol is sitting in a pile of axle pieces without them.

Does anybody have a contact in Au through whom they could order these?

Rich can you send me the sizes, let me see if they can be sourced from somewhere else?

Alternatively, they can be sourced through NikolaiB at Euro4x4, probably faster than 3 weeks.

I don't have the specs, just the part number. Nikolai is looking on my behalf already.

I found 2 at the Gabarone dealership, but the cost of courier (R400) takes the already ridiculous Nissan price (R250 ea) to a new high. Anybody coming into SA from Gabs today or this weekend?

We can supply the aftermarket one sbut they're garanteed 100 % the same. Delevery within a week , price about 1/3 part of original.
You only want the originals????

If you really want to have the originals ones: about 170 ZAR without VAT (not be included as you're from outside Europa) plus cost of deilvery.
Expected time of deliverance to your town; baout 10 days.

I managed to get the seals from the Nissan agent in Gabarone via a friend; only to find that their outer diameter is 1mm to small (43 instead of 44mm) - even though the part number was correct. This was a disappointment indeed!!

Does anyone know if there are manufacturing variations within this part by Nissan that reflect the different regions of manufacture?

Nikolai - can you tell me the dimentions on the genuine or aftermarket seals you sell (inner & outer diameter)?

Ours are of this size, original and after market Di=34 Do=44 Ep=8. That's what says in our description but I've sent somebody in our warehouse in France to check it personally and I'll let you know

Maybe they sold you a bad after market product (and said it's Nissan), but we keep insisting that the 2 we sell are exactly the same as know where they are manufactured. Only difference is the price.
