Banja Mooi Ernst, me think me knows why your GQ is so thirsty , it is used to Scottish Firewater gooi a few drops whisky in your tank then it will slowly get used to our fuel here in RSA
Oom Mac hier in Richardsbaai is ook so n Loodgrys GQ ek kry net nie die eienaar sover om te join nie

Dankie - die beste picks by De Wildt, met wiele in die lug, het nie uitgekom nie - and I am not just saying that. We never went to oom Gert se klip as we never had time. However, if you turn right as soon as you are within the course (driving next to the game fence), the first obstacle is a steep include on rocky terrain followed by very rough boulders. The previous time, without the rear locker, I couldn't get up here. This time I literally almost idled up there - amazing difference. Not sure you guys can picture the obstacle, but it is pretty woes. The rough boulders that follows the steep incline was difficult to navigate with the LWB, but we managed eventually with some guidance from the front - always keeping an eye on any boulders or rock that might hit the underside.
Hy het ook sy eerste recovery gehad - die Suzuki het bietjie verdrink. Gelukkig was dit nie anders om nie want die pad bande op die Patrol is naby aan useless in die modder.Dis was groot fun.
Dis `n Automatic Transmission - ook my eerste.
Klink my meeste mense het name vir hulle patrollies. Die sal ek nog by uitkom as ek dom beter leer ken (strengths and weaknesses). Dit sal iets Scottish wees probably.

Ernst daai is die moeilikste obstacle by De Wildt.
As jy daar kan op, behoort Gert se Klip regtig nie 'n probleem te wees nie?
