Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Guys

I need to know ,if someone out there has a 4.8 auto with a dipstik on the auto box.
My one only have a short metal piece connected to a rubber that seals the dipstik pipe.
Nissan cant help me.If one of you have one,maybe i can make one up ,using yours as a template.I for one would like to check my auto oil level as i do with my engine oil.

All the newer Patrols only have a cap

Go to Nissan and order part # 31086VC20A Gauge Assy-Oil

I have changed mine about a year ago as I also like to know what the levels are in the middle of nowhere...
