Hi All,
Herewith the specs as found on the Nissan Patrol Aussie site - not the 4x4 one!! Here is the link:
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/patrol-e ... tions.html
Gobi is pretty much right - in short the spec's refers to the following models, in order of bore, engine capacity, compression ratio and power (kw & nm):
TD42 4.2 litre, water cooled, diesel engine, 4 Cycle, 6 Cylinder, OHV 96mm x 96mm 4169 cc 22.7:1 R/min 114 kw @ 3600 R/min 330 Nm @ 2000
TD42T 4.2 litre, water cooled,diesel engine, turbo, 4 Cycle, 6 Cylinder, OHV 96mm x 96mm 4169 cc 22.7:1 R/min 114 kw @ 3600 R/min 360 Nm @ 2000
TD42Ti 4.2 litre, water cooled, turbo diesel, intercooled, 6 Cylinder, OHV, 96mm x 96mm 4169 cc 22.7:1 R/min 118kw @ 3600 R/min 354 Nm @ 2000
ZD30DDTi 3.0 litre, water cooled, turbo diesel, intercooled, DOHC 96mm x 102mm 2953 cc 17.9:1 R/Min - Auto 118kw @ 3600 R/Min - Auto 354 Nm @ 2000
ZD30DDTi 3.0 litre, water cooled, turbo diesel, common rail, intercooled, DOHC from 01/2007 96mm x 102mm 2953 cc 17.9:1 R/Min -Auto 118kw @ 3200 -3400 R/Min -Manual R/Min -Auto 380 Nm @ 2000 -2400 R/Min -Manual
So in short - the TD refers to the spesific type or model of engine - the other letters following thereafter will tell you wether it is turbo, intercooled or what ever. So the way Marinda wrote it it could mean she is looking for the 4.2 turbo diesel model - her letters being after the numericals. Perhaps this will shed some light on the confusion going around!!
