I have joined the forum a couple of weeks ago and thought I should do the right thing and intro myself properly. Have already got a lot out of this site and it's friendly members so thanks to all for the wealth of information to date. Hopefully my family and I can meet a few of you out there doing what Patrols do best!

8. Current 4x4: Patrol 4.8 GRX 2004 Auto

9. Current Mods: KC Spots, Ironman, New BFGoodrich KM2's, Garmin GPS, T4A

10. Mods on wish list: (sadly Christmas only comes once a year..... ) replacement front bar, dual battery system, roof top tent, long range tank, rock sliders, awning, does it ever end? naaah fitting out is half the fun!

12. Previous 4x4's: Nissan Sani (original model), Toyota Hilux, Disco 3 V6 (upgraded to Patrol )

A heartly warm welcome to this forum - like you correctly said there is a wealth of infomation and hep available here - especially on the Patrols and I think more than what any Nissan Dealer will eer be able to offer you.

Hey Guys - I just got an idea - why don't we all "klap" together and open a Nissan Patrol dealership - and import everything!!! I am sure Nissan SA will be very appreciative of it. Then we will take all the unhappy customers (which is us) away from them and make tem happy customers!!!

I am glad to see in your introuction here you said you upgraded (with a smile) from the Disco 3 V6 to the Patrol - unlike some other forum members (no names!!) who have done i the other wa around - and thought they upgraded!! Koos just a joke - I am only pulling your leg on this one!!

Enjoy your Patrol - and yes I sincerely hope that you we will have an 2nd CT outing soon in the new year - IT IS LONG OVERDUE FELLOW CAPETONIANS!!
