Clutch fork/ slave question

Do/don't you lubricate the clutch slave to fork pin?
What do you use to lubricate the clutch slave to fork pin?
I've noticed that when I lubricate the pin a bit the clutch is a lot lighter, but needs frequent lubing. That said I don't like having too much lube there as any driving, specially sand will create a grinding paste. Currently I've tried chain lube (more sticky) and teflon spray.
Suggestions on other lubes and covers?
Thx
