Hello Guys
Here goes:
1. Name: Peter Connan
2. I am a '73 model, 19 August to be precise.
3. Town and Country of residence: Kempton Park
4. Home Language: Afrikaans, mostly.
5. Occupation/Business: Engineering manager for a company producing industrial control valves.
6. Family status: Engaged, with two chillums
7. Membership - Other 4X4 Clubs and Forums: SA4x4forum
8. Current 4x4: 1996 4.2 SGL Patrol
9. Current Mods: OME, 200l tanks, Dual Battery, 33"x12.5"x15"BFG A/T's, home-made bullbar, Roofrack.
10. Mods on wish list: Rocksliders, snorkel, front locker, winch.
11. Vehicle on wish list: this one with mods as above. And maybe a 4.5 motor.
12. Previous 4x4's: None, but I have driven off-road in 2x4's quite a lot.
13. Last 3 offroad or overland destinations: Only one proper overland trip so far, to Bots
14. Your favourite destination: Depends on how long I can get away for. Would love to go and spend some time in the Moremi
15. Other hobbies: Sports cars and shooting.
16. GPSr and Map Data used: Garmin Nuvi 500 with topo and T4A
17. Rate your 4X4 and overlanding experience: Learner
