Hello there Guys,

I am writing this thread on behalf of a friend as he dont know english and I hope I get there right!,

He owns a 2004 4.5 Shorty patrol, he is having a front tires problem, the problem is similar of what is called wheel alignment. He said to me that his front tires is having a V shape! which means both tires having a bit of inner angle at the bottom while an outer angle at the top. (hope I explained it right  )

Question is, what could be the problem? and what are the ways of fixing this problem? in better words, what is the best thing to do to fix it?

Thanks :salute:

Aziz

Good day Aziz.
It look like your friend's Patrol has a lot off Positve camber in the front. On the Patrol you can not ajust that. But you could fit caster bushes on the radius arms. That should push the wheels to a zero camber,by tipping the diff backwards. The car will have more caster, but that is a good thing if the car has a suspention lift.If you tip the diff backwards and the camber goes from positive to zero, the toe will be toe-in,and that can be ajusted.
Make sure the diff is not bent.
Hope this helps
Frans
