It is true what you say - and I know its not going to be easy finding both petrol an diesel models but the only way to decide is by drivng both and decide your personal preference.

I have a 2002 3.0l diesel (handgranate model) which just exploded - but I still love my patrol!!! I think it is an awesome vehicle!! And all makes have their down sides - does not matter which one you look at. It is all about personal preferences / likings - what you like in a Patrol the next guy will like in a Cruiser and the next in a Landie and so we can go on......

Nissan Patrol is the most underrated 4x4 in SA - by far!!!
