We are going to do some panic packing tonight and tomorrow .....hahahaha

Just a note to everyone.......PLEASE bring your own recovery equipment. We may not need it, but rather have your own than try hassle someone else to get equipment to be recovered. There are lots of vehicles going through the river, and every delay will cause a backlog that grows exponentially.

Hahahaha... Ian....Its a pity you aren't coming with on this trip. My old Iron Maiden is still the best 4x4xfar.... oh dear did I just quote a landy phrase???.... must be the petrol fumes from all the other Patrols filling up many jerry cans.....

I hope I don't have a head wind on Thursday morning, with the roofrack and RTT on plus firewood and gas bottle, that could slow me down a bit. I'll have to drive at 120Km/hour then.

Standard Procedure: Use someone else's reecovery equipment = strafdop that night at the fire.

Michael, I used to have proper truck mudflaps, but I used to write them off on the trails. You slip in between rocks, then reverse, then mudflap is gone.
For me that is a nice to have for overlanding only - especially if you have a trailer and you want to spare from the stones flipping up.
