Hi Peter,
My Troll's been sorted out, so I'm back on track with sorting out the necessary undercarriage protection.
Can we carry on where we left off a while ago?
If you're going to galvanize the front diff guard for Stefan, I'd like mine the same as well, as well as that "gearbox" (?) protection...
Pls PM me the finals, so I can transfer soonest

Mark, recovery points should never be galvanised.
It reduces their strength.

Peter are you by implication suggesting then that the diff guard should rather not be galvanized?

David, the diff guard (and bash plates etc.) are made from mild steel, which's strength is not really affected by galvanizing.
The recovery points are made from WA350, which is a "structural steel", and is heat-treated to an extent. The heat of the galvanizing process removes this heat treatment.
