Depending on timing, maybe you don't need to deliver, I could potentially bring some tools and come and measure it at your house. Shouldn't take more than an hour at the most.
Peter,
At this time, it seems as if Summit will only have my new bumper ready next week. Which means I will only be able to remove the thing next week. I've also got to collect the diff guard from you at some point, so I could bring it along then and you can get it to David later ?
I assume I may not be able to deliver anything before David's Transkei trip. We'll see how things pan out.
I'll be in touch when the work on my vehicle is done and all the rest of the stuff is available.

So, what is currently available:
1: GU front bumper with bolt-on nudgebar. Silver (colour code ES6). Not in the best of shape (crack on right hand quarter panel and loose on the left. Centre piece is fine).
2: Dust plate for 4.5 GU (was replaced with PC bash plate).
3: OEM front recovery point (was replaced with PC recovery point).
Ian, did the oem recovery hook find a home yet? I am looking for one.

Right. It appears as if my bumper will be installed on Thursday.
This will be too late to get anything to David prior to his Transkei trip.
David, please let me know when you're back so that I can come and deliver the various bumpers etc.
Also, I've got to go throught o collect a diff guard from Peter. I'm hoping to be able to get through on Friday morning, so I'll deliver the winch plate to him for him to reverse engineer. He can make arrangements to get it to you, David.
Drean, David and myself will be in touch when he's back from Transkei to arrange about getting the bumpers down to you.

At this point, it's up in the air. I want to go, but waiting for kids' passports. DOHA has no idea how long they're going to be. So depends on them. In the worst case, I'll give the hook to someone who is going, and they can give it to Fanus.

I am actually now wondering if I really need another recovery hook. When I asked for it I wasn't sure if my 4500grx got a hook, but on later inspection I noticed that it does have one. So I am not so sure now if i really need a second recovery hook for my pickup. Sure it would be nice for when wanting to use a bridle strap...
Rather leave it for now, maybe someone else need it more than me.
