Re: Does anyone know this patrol
Hi Carlo. Have you test driven any of those Trolls yet. I and I am sure many others, would like to hear how it went and what your opinion of them is.
I have never driven the 4.5 petrol but had a short test drive in a 4.2D turbo down in C.T. and did not notice that much of a difference to my 3.0 D taking into account mine is always packed to the gunnels. However it might be a different story on long gradients. I also read in an Australian article that the petrol Patrols are superior in the sand and I had always thought it would be the other way around.
Regards.
Barry

Re: Does anyone know this patrol
Just to give some info on my fuel consumption so far on my 4.2D, I only drive in town so far and have not yet taken my Patrol for a dyno so I am sure these figures will improve. I must also add that I don't have any accessories added so its still rairly "light" if you can say that about a Patrol. Plus I try and drive light foot as I don't have a company fuel card
I am getting around 7.5km/L or 13.3L/100 towns driving and will without a doubt get 10km/L on mine. I cant wait to stretch its legs a bit on the open road to see what figures I get
