Hi Marinus,

Ek tinker met die idee om 'n rak te bou, maar ek hou maar die 'classifieds ook dop. As daar voete is wat pas, maak dit die opsies van 2de handse rakke heelwat groter.

Gents,

Just a suggestion. If you can lift the RR a little more this give you the option to fit a table under neath as well as like I have the solar panel. That little extra drag will not create a major problem.

Thanks Grant

That is one of the changes I want to make in my next attempt. I also want to leave a slot for the spanner to move into when tightening the nut. I will also make the webbing smaller. It is a bloody hassle to get the bloody moertjie out when it falls into the gutter behind the foot piece. :doh: :doh: :doh:

Stefan ek sal kyk of ek n standaard roof rack op die voetjie kan vasmaak. Glo nie dit behoort n probleem te wees nie. Ek sal gaan kyk hoe front runner se goed vasmaak. Dit was maklik vir my, want ek het alles saam ontwerp. Kon die voet ontwerp om aan die raam vas te maak.

oom mac het n stel voete vir die roofrack wat op sy y60 was wat hy wil smous hulle is ook hoog genoeg vir grant se voorstel marino daai roofrack en voete lyk regtig baie goed :thumbup:

Marino en Stefan

Moenie te veel worry oor of die voete op 'n ander dakrak pas, voor julle nie weet watse dakrak hulle op moet pas nie. Die goed verskil nogal baie van mekaar, maar ek is ook seker dit sal met 99% van dakrakke baie maklik wees om Marino se voete te maak pas.

Marinus, die dakrak lyk baie goed. Ek wil net weet of jou voetstukke almal ewe lank is, aangesien daar 'n effense boog oor die dak is van voor na agter.

Hi Alex

Hulle is dieselfde lengte. Ek het gekyk en dit is eers na die voorste deure wat die kurwe noemingswaardig raak. Ek het my dakrak tot by die voorste deur gevat. Dit was die oorspronklike lengte wat ek my rak wou he. Ek wil kyk of my volgende poging nie die kurwe kan insluit nie. Die idiaal sal wees om die voetstuk se hoogte verstelbaar te maak om die kurwe te kan hanteer. Ek sal bietjie kyk hierna en n paar veranderings maak.
