Has anyone fitted the bulb holders and rigged the tail lights up in the 2005+ shape patrol yet?
I have drilled holes and fitted bulb holders, but not sure which one to make into indicator lights - probably the middle one (where the reverse light is currently and use a yellow type bulb - should look good. But then what about the reverse light??

Chris,
I have the same questions as you! Where do we go with the indicators if we want reverse lights or reverse lights if we rig them as indicators?

I would say dump the indicators, they are on the bumper? Or else what do we do?
Any suggestions guys?

Philip, I rigged mine as follows - and it looks really good:
Bottom red light - is rigged with dual globe for rear tail lights and brake lights.
Centre clear - is now reverse light (both sides)
Top red - is now indicators - flashing red obviously (hope its legal - I still have the orange indicators and other lights in my bumper as well).
See my post called "Dashboard re-covered and tail lights done" for more info.

Thanks Chris, think that is a pretty good setup you done. Was also thinking of the one red to be an indicator. It is legal in USofA but not here, you however does have the amber indicator at the bottom still working.

If you import some Euro spec tail lights, let me know. I am interested too. We can share shipping costs?

I have spoken to our guy in the Westrand and he will build us replacement bumpers and he mentioned some R4500 for back bumper. While he does this he can also do the lights. What we need is the number of possible bumpers so he can do the jig and start.
