Thanks for the complement Errol, I do suspect that it might have to do with the sway bar. I have removed my front sway bar and left my rear one in tact.
Tinus removed his rear one (or it broke and he had to remove it) and left his front one in tact so this might be the difference.

Another thing (and this is why I am questioning his 3" lift) is that when Josh's 3.0 was there my wife used Tinus's Patrol for a week or so I had the opportunity of measuring all three Patrol's lift.

My Patrol and Josh's measured almost exact to 5mm from center of hub to bottom of fender flair. I was impressed by this because my OME suspention date stamp is 2008 and his is 2013. This means in 5 years the OME had un measurable sag...... impressive. :woo:

Tinus's Patrol measured the same as mine and Josh's in front, but was about 10mm lower at the back. Having to take into account that his Patrol was the only one with a steel rear bumper as well as a draw bar on his tow bar, that might be the 10mm difference in measurement, this made me think that he might have a 2" lift and not a 3"?

The only other option can be that the Ironman have sagged 1" since fitment...... who knows

Well, with age, things do start to sag I'm afraid, even if bigger Tinus.

I have a body lift and a suspension lift.
I tried to explain this at the work the other day, but my colleague just kept on laughing. I was trying to serious. He did not understand I was talking about my car.

Anyways, with my body lift and all, I am convinced my rear is starting to sagg (2011, OME, 2"). Pitty I did not measure and mark it when it got installed.
Maybe we should park next to one another and measure in Swaziland?

Michael, I think the difference in flex between yours and Tinus's is probably the anti-sway bar. I doubt either of you are maxing out the shocks, as you were both quite far from the bump stops.

Regarding the lift, remember that Tinus has a winch, moerofaheavy PC-made rocksliders, steel bumpersboth ends and drawer system and usually a fridge in? That lot probably adds up to 350kg extra?
