Boats, thanks to you for the idea, it is your "out of the box" thinking that got me a solution. I paid fair amount for it, but compared to ready made mounts in Aus, it is still not a bad price.

I had to swallow some pride and take it to a fabricator that is owned by someone I don't like too much, luckily the main fabricator an American was great to deal with, and I didn't have to deal with the owner. Just a note the American Fabricator still does not like the idea of the battery down there, but I guess things we are not used to seeing bring doubts into our mind.

Hugejp asked for some more pictures as he would like to do something similar. No point only him having the reference, so here is to all out there that helped out and those that may consider this solution. At this stage I am not sure how it will hold up in the field, but from Boats on here, it should do well.

Just a note, I don't drink Heineken beer, I prefer German Weiss beer, I keep Heineken for guests who can't appreciate fine German beer....but I don't get many who don't appreciate it.

I just noticed something artistically significant, the battery is there to chill that beer and enjoy in the bush.

What beer is drunk in SA? I remember a Namibian beer that was good whilst there 10 years ago.
