My rear bumper for my Hardbody i had welded up by a friend. Its simple and it works for me.User friendly

Ok for a Patrol a much heavier one would be required. No funny comments now hey :naughty:

I can lift the vehicle up with the rockslider if need be, but i need something like this high lift to do the trick.

These are the high lift type creations i was talking about. But i botched up the first post now. So if need be i can lift the Hardbody up on the one side. I welded the rocksliders on.

Sorry i dont know whats the Afrikaans name for the High lift Jack. Herman (AKA Engel) would say a moffie stokkie :mytwocents:

Dink DONKIE teen 100km/h...

Ek sou nie 'n pay-as-you-go winch koop nie....
Dit lyk baie nice, ek het myne bestel en hy word die 22ste van die maand aangesit.

Hi Scuba Patrol

Did you come right with your bumpers - I have got Hein Burnett's (Burnco CT) front and rear replacement bumpers (rock sliders too!!) on my Patrol - and are very happy with it. I have got a 9500 TMAX winch in front - have done several and some real heavy duty recoveries and have absolutely experienced no problems!!! And his price is a lot more competive to names like ARB / TJM / NUDGE etc. And in my modest opinion - there are many things in life and on the market of which half the price is for the name - it is like buying parts for your Patrol from the agents!!! The same thing can be found in "pirate parts" at half the price just because it does not come out of a box that says Nissan. I take my fan in front of the radiator for instance - the agents wanted R1550-00 for it - I got one from a spares shop in CT for R150-00 brand new - and it is the exact same thing!!!! My bumpers and rocksliders have taken some severe knocks - I am not ashamed to use them to my benefit - to the extend that I already had them re-sprayed at Hein once since fitted (2 years ago). No damages of any kind was on / in the metal itself - everything was just severe scratches from sliding over rocks etc.

I am not too concerned about the airbag compatibility issue - and honestly don't know or never asked if Hein's are - but then again I don't drive my Patrol at 160 km/h!!! All I know is whatever comes in front of that bumper is going to be flattened with the earth - the only thing I would not want to take on is a Truck Hauler - he is bigger than me!! And I feel sorry for the guy who drives into my ass - he is going to come off second best!!

Not even the taxis here in Belville looks for sh*t with me when I am on the road - the other day a taxi made the mistake of trying to cut in in front of me at a robot from a compulsary carry on straight lane whilst I was turning right at the robot - I flattened the throttle and pushed him until he ended up on the pavement!!!! I am sure he hurt a cv joint or wheelbearing or two - because he had to speed away from my front otherwise I would have crumbled his side!!!

My :mytwocents: worth
