Which rear bumper is fitted, almost same shape as 4.5's but with same rear corners as 4.8?

Cedric
There are palces in the Knysna forest that my timber trucking friends tell me is terrorising.
Why don't we find a way of getting Nissan to sponsor us on an ordeal like that.
We get a professional SA filming crew.
We use our own cars, but with Nissan supporting broken parts and the filming crew.
If it is new Patrols supplied by Nissan, the sponsoring may be too steep.
What do you say?
Can it do harm to start making some phone calls?
Theuhan will have the contact details I am sure.

Now this sounds like a plan!
Lets call it the Knysna Patrol Trophy or something.
BTW the reason they used LR in the Camel Trophy, was to make it a real challenge...

I think it will take a bit of time to get an answer on this at the moment.
I have send an e-mail to see what kind of response we get. Remember that the logistics of something like this would be HUGE, and its not something that can be 80% slapped together. If Nissan does get involved with something like this, they are going to expect it to be well thought out and planned. The planning of something of this calibre, would take many many many months. Russ would probably know better on this kind of thing..... but again... there is no harm in asking!!

Yes, no harm in asking and also no harm in dreaming!
Everything in life starts with a single thought at some point.
Correct, planning will need to top notch and take a lot of time
Project planning, putting together and managing budget, managing all stakeholders.
Sponsorship can also be shared with an Oil co, 4x4fitment centre, Tyre Co etc.

I sent an email and it has been read. It is going to take a little time, understandably, but I have had a response. Naturally it is neither negative nor positive, as this will need to be compiled into a feesable proposal to Nissan. Lets hang in there, hold thumbs. I am uber keen to do this, and will keep following up.
Hold thumbs
