Sound is in, perfectly done, only change you notice is the new head unit.
How does it sound??
.....................Blinde Bl888em.................
The best R 5200 I have spent in a VERY VERY long time, seriously!!!!
HIGHLY recommended Guys, GREAT value. This was for the Nakamichi head unit (CD and BT), 4 x 4 way speakers, 2 tweeters, and subwoofer with built in amp.
I really dont think one van do better at that $$.
In short - it sounds like a Nak, it REALLY does

Hi Everyone............
Went to Potch and back this weekend, 5 people in car, heavy 7 foot Venter and the car was also fill of stuff (my daighter's 21st party).
Bethlehem to Potch............6.2 km/litre
Potch to Bethlehem............6.5.
Never below 110, never above 120.
Heavy, yes..............BUT not NEARLY as heavy as I expected, reading thousands of fuellies on the Patrol Petrol, so that "myth" that the Trol is the MAMMA of all things heavy on fuel is out the window - for me, anyway.
And This is not only this car - I've been "surprised" by that blue GRX I had a couple years back, the green GL, and now also this GRX. All manual, dunno if this is a huge effect, but all were manual.
My consumption so far, after about 2500 km or so:
1) Worst - towing a SWB Landy on a VERY heavy trailer......................................4,9
2) Towing that trailer empty............................................. ...............................5.7
3) Driving Bloem and back, empty, at 130/140............................................... ...5.5
4) Driving empty like an old ballie, 100-110............................................... .......6.7
5) Bethlehem - Potch, fullly loaded, heavy Venter............................................ ...6.2
6) Potch - Bethlehem, as above............................................. ..........................6,5
AVERAGE ON ABOVE...................5.9 KM/L

Nice man !!!
There is nothing like listening to music through quality speakers. It's amazing how much sound quality gets lost on standard car sound. My better halfs new Mazda CX5 has a nice sound system as standard, but is absolutely horrid in comparison to the sound quality in the Iron Maiden, and being a bit of a guitarist and drummer myself, I can get a little pedantic about how the song should sound....haha
I'm pleased everything fitted like a dream, I had the same issue with my sub and have it under my seat at the moment. Works like a dream

Really happy with that Nak riscter, GREAT value for money.
Bass is almost too much - with Bass on "0" on the unit, Loudness OFF and the volume on the sub at around 1/4 of the way, it sounds best (to me).
Those tweeters also do their thing....!!

Pal of mine asked me this past weekend to come help him taking off some white blesbok rammetjies on his farm.
Being gatvol of shooting, lazy, and wanting to spend time with Olive, I gave Sev my 16 year old laaitie the .223, and off I went, driving around the farm.
The laaities chatted us into allowing them to camp on the farm that night.......and it was done, us old ballies left them there on their own, with wood, a worsie and a pack of Simba chips. They enjoyed it IMMENSELY, only wanted to go home late the following afternoon.
What a nice way for a 16 Year old boy to spend a day.........

....And no, you Guys are NOT rid of me or my Olive yet
Bought Olive back from Etienne de Kock last week, she was sent up by a carrier to Bloem yesterday where I collected her.
A very VERY VERY special word of appreciation to Etienne, he had a very valid reason for selling Olive, and I was the very first Lucky Bugger that he called and asked if I want her back. Thanks Etienne, you are a Scholar and a Gentleman, I really do appreciate this.
Anyway......back to Basics
Olive - collected yesterday morning......she was a wee bit dusty, and I quickly took her for a wash:
