Gary, the Patrols usually dont have problems with rear seals so it was probably just their time.

Im saying its the rear seal just because of the oil leak location.i have noticed oil around the edge of the clutch cover and oil pan as well ( gasket seal). I doubt it would fling oil back and up that far.
Guess ill have to get it pressure washed and double check to make sure.

Some of the most likely places are just infront of the oil filters where the oil preasure sender is and the timing cover back plate at the injector pump.
A good wash will be the best idea
