For the record, i have often traveled 3up in the patrol. On a few occasions i have even had myself (skinny), my dad (90kg), and my friend Wes (149 kg 6"4') all up in the front of the Patrol, no issues. Its not ideal, but can be done.
I often travel with Jess, and my Labrador Angus, in the front with me.... Angus tends to get the window seat everytime . hahaha.
Looking good.
Angus is a clever dog.

P.S. So where is Angus going to sit if you swap seats?

Where he belongs.... in the bloody back! hahaha. I keep him in the back when he's wet or dirty... lights on so he can see, but he just lies down and sleeps anyway. haha.
Ps: There's a third safety belt combo, but i just have it neatly tucked away under the 3/4 bench seat as i never needed to use it.

Here is some pics of (some of the) bolts. When I get a chance I'll remove the center console to have a look at the other bolts...

Ok.
I removed the passenger seat and center console and panel today.
lets see if all the holes and bolts line up.

batlled initially to get the centre console loose..

had to loosen these screws:

after discovering these screws, in order to remove the "rear panel" of the center console, it went a lot smoother.

I almost forgot to remove this bracket - sure it would be needed to mount center console in another vehicle.

More mounting holes, maybe would be used when fitting the 3/4 bench seat?

I really hope that these brackets are the same in both model vehicles ,as this could pose a problem if not the same.

Excuse the dirty carpet..

Is the handbrake the same? or must the plastic bits get swapped?

All removed.
