P.S. Josh, dankie vir my nuwe profile pic.

I cut the sidewall of one of my rear tyres.
Ironically on the very last turn after all the much more techinical stuff was done.
I am still going to try and get it fixed.

Consumption inside the river was 2.5k per litre!
I know that as I spent 80 litres before the light come on. That was 200km.
But I got to know how to drive the car more economically in the sand later on.
There is more than enough torque to run in 4th low range at around 1200 rpm.

I filled up in Tzaneen and had to add 40l at the end of Molototsi. That much fun can not be bought for ten times more.
The consumption could be good because I was at the front doing Recce and made the first tracks in virgin sand. (and I packed light)

Got recovered once by Dirk from a mud bog  but that happens when you make the first tracks.

I had the privilege to do the "higher grade" section in Klein Letaba with Thinus , Micael and Alex. It can be described as 500m of grade 4 and very tough.
Thanks to those who waited and encouraged us through there.
The GQ never missed a beat and is home in the same condition it left.
