I bought the 50 litre Waeco back in 2005.
This seems to be like a VW Beetle, it has not changed much in 10 years
Still works like clock work today.
It cost me then around 4k.
So this is a real bargain.

This specific 50L is a gas fridge, not 12v ( although it may also be 220v, but definitively not 12v)

It works with amonia, is this good or bad compared to newer technology fridges? (Assuming that amonia is older technology)...

Fanus, I would not even consider a 3 way fridge, I have had a few of them over the years and have not been impressed with any of then. They will never get as cold as a compressor fridge and they must be kept level to work properly. Spend the extra money and get the right tool for the job. I have 3 at the moment a 90L -40, a 40L -40 (had this one for about 20 years and still going strong) and a 50 Waeco love all 3 of them but the waeco is the most effecent
