No, leaving it on for this weekend at Bass Lake, will see after that, spoke to the guy and he indicated that I can leave it on for a max of 4 months if I want to, so will see after the weekend.

A bit of update

So I actually washed the Troll for the Nissan day aand the paintshield did not peel or anything from the wash(no high presure hose).

It did wat it promised and I can see where I got a few scratches that would have scratched the paint work, so Iam very happy with the protection itself.

So this weekend I wanted to add some fender flairs like Grant showed, but thats another story better left untold

Anaway in trying and failing the pertucilar excercise I had to remove the paintshield from the back fenders. Lesson learned do not do it with the vehicle standing in the sun it makes it a little more difficult.

The paintshield stripped off easily and it was only where I aplied it a tad to thin that I struggled a little bit not really worth mentioning.

I will give one of the other panels a go with the high preasure hose just to see what it does.

Overall I am very happy and will use it again if I venture off the beaten track. Will poste some pics as son as work internet is online again,

So what happens if you do leave it on for longer than 4 months?
This really seems to be worth the money for guys that are "sensitive" towards the paint work.
Are there agents in Gauteng?
If I recall I saw DuPont on the can.

Got now idea what will happen if you leave it on for longer - but my guess is it would start to get brittle over an extended period from the sun.

So my Patrol is now Paintshield free, after the weekends trip to Rust de Winter I removed the rest of it, peeled off the big pieces easily and then put the high pressure washer on and it removed it quit eaisly.

Got some scratches on the two back panels where I removed the paintshield before the weekend so it definately works as the doors and so has no schratches.

I will definately do it again, but this time only on the parts that realy require it - basically the sides of the vehicle

oompi wuz behind you last day end you had lots of fat branches scraping overhead.

I can just CRY that i did not have that protective stuff on the tyotta -- 30 K worth of respray .. IN SY MOER IN

Really - i think ADW can clear the trail of the branches - special in dry season
