Thanks Pieter now I know too. The gent at Nissan SA was trying to give me the normal nonsense of parts taking long to get here from Japan and by the time it arrives the stuff in stock is sold out. Oh boy did I give him a lecture about safety stocks and early ordering signals etc. I sincerely hope the conversation was taped. My logistics lecturer would have been proud. Cant believe how the formulas and theory came back 18 years down the line.
Anycase we should complain more. I will post the name and contact details of the person I dealt with. Its an easy contact with Nissan SA. Maybe if we keep complaining they will improve.

I don't like the flimsy quality of the plastic covers at the bottom of the front seats, on the side of the doors.
Mine broke on both sides where the fastening screws go through. No abuse involved. Only light bumps by people getting in or out. Fixed it with super glue.
Surely they could do better on a >R600K vehicle.

Waarvan is julle ouens se Patrols aan mekaar gesit - myne is en voel so solid soos n rock!!!
Ek het nog geen gebreke van enige aard binne in my kar ondervind nie.

Myne ook Pieter, al wat kort op myne, was so toe ek gekoop het , is die heel agterste air con vent se vinne vir die jumpsaet passaiers. Verder het ek niks los nie.O ja die asbak sien ek die verf kom bietjie af, ek en die vorige eienaar het nie eens gerook nie.
