Kom wys jou muis met sy nuwe suspension. Jy moet ophou vrae vra en net die goed koop. OME of TJM's.
Groete

Hello Herbie
The price on the TJM's was also R800 cheaper than the OME at 4x4 MEGA world. I bought mine at LA Sport in M G Cape Town. The biggest consern will be to get a reputable fitment centre to fit the new bushes. This is a critical part of the performance of your vechile on the open road. The performance of the coil and shocks will not be felt wrong so easely as a badly installed bush.

I have installed TJM ( medium ) last week . The difference in ride is major if compared to the
standard suspension . Better roadholding and a firm ride . Lift is +-50mm front and back .
TJM were cheaper than OME ( not much ) at LA Sport Gesina , Pta who also installed .
I am happy with my choice

Mac, it is clear from the picture of your car that it is lifted.
I am not a fan of the Camil coil-over shock system, because it changes the way that loads are introduced into the vehicle structure. The original suspension is designed so that the springs support the weight of the vehicle and the shocks damp the oscillations of the body relative to the axles, so the shock mounts are only subjected to the daming loads. The Camil system supports a portions of the vehicle's weight on the shock mounts, so these have to carry this additional load. This means that a part of the vehicle structure is used in a way that it was not designed for. This could lead to problems.
Now I am aware that the Camil system works well on many vehicles and has been tested on many vehicles and proven not to create durability issues, but has it been tested on a Patrol? I don't know, but somehow I doubt it. I have heard of shock mount failures on 60 Series land Cruiser with coil-over shocks (not Camil, though).
There are many options in terms of shocks for the Patrol; Ironman, OME and TJM XGS come to mind immediately, but I am sure there will be options from Rancho, Dobinsons, etc. too.
Me, I don't have the bucks to lift Imvubu right now, so I am trying to make my mind up in the mean time

.
