So I tried the towbar mounted spare wheel carrier. It was well made and an excellent idea. Unfortunately my trailers particular coupling makes it impossible to use with modifying one of them. I decided not to modify either of them, bit the bullet and got a rear bumper with spare wheel carrier from Burnco in Cape Town. I'm very happy and really impressed with the quality of their work. Nice job and a big thanks to Hein and his team!
